More Information
The village itself is stone built and genuinely quiet, with the essentials close by and open moorland beyond.
Oakworth station on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is one of the most photographed stops on the line thanks to its role in the Railway Children, and steam trains still pull in.
Haworth, the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the walk out to Top Withens sit just up the valley, footpaths run straight from the village, and the Peak District is also around fifty minutes away by car with the Yorkshire Dales an easy day out in the other direction.
Two things worth knowing before booking.
