About us
HostUplift is a specialist marketing, advertising and technical support partner for short-term let hosts. We provide our hosts with a range of market leading tools combined with knowledge and expertise to maximise results for our hosts.
Each host has a different use case. Whilst our primary focus is maximising results, some hosts may benefit from some aspects of our service more than others.
- New hosts – those who are just getting started, don’t have any listings, and are looking for complete guidance along the way.
- Hosts looking to optimise – those who are already operating and wanting to boost bookings and increase revenues.
- Experienced hosts – those wanting more strategic support in terms of pricing, restrictions or property operations.
HostUplift is a turnkey solution for property hosts looking to maximise their property revenue and streamline their operations. We have a variety of uses which vary by host.
No, HostUplift is not just a channel manager. We provide a comprehensive range of services from marketing and advertising to technical support – we cover a wide range of aspects with enhanced support and guidance along the way.
Onboarding With Us
To get started with us, click through to our contact page. We have a £100 partnership fee payable prior to onboarding. You can leave whenever you wish as there is no contract in place. With no cancellation fee or hidden charges, there has never been a better time to join us.
Once our agreement is in place, you will meet with our onboarding team who will onboard your property with us.
Ahead of onboarding, all hosts need to ensure their property is in a safe, rentable condition and have an Airbnb listing created. Any data, concerns or questions you wish to discuss around your property is also helpful.
We do not offer a trial period, however you can terminate your services whenever you wish.
Typically onboarding can take 5–7 business days during busy periods. Often this is host dependent and varies with requirements, but usually this process can be completed on average within 3 days.
Features
We encourage all hosts to list their properties on as many booking platforms as possible. That said, we appreciate some platforms may not be suitable and host preferences may differ.
Yes, you can decide on the best arrangements for pricing and restrictions for your property. During your onboarding call this will be discussed with our onboarding team. Following this, a comprehensive strategy will be proposed by our team for your review.
Yes – we simply connect as a co-host to any existing listings you may have. You retain all of your listings throughout, and upon termination of services with us you will keep these. Here at HostUplift we want hosts to stay with us because you see the value of the service we provide.
We have a fully comprehensive tech stack which covers all of the latest tools required by hosts. This includes:
- Channel management
- Pricing software
- Promotions software
- Guest management software
- Turnover management software
Yes – all of our partner tools have varying AI functionality. We use it behind the scenes too, to power your property success.
Pricing
For all property owners, HostUplift charges 5% plus VAT on all reservations inclusive of upsells or additional charges.
For property owners, a £100 Partnership Fee applies which is payable prior to onboarding. Please note this is non-refundable.
For all properties with multiple rooms, Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts and Inns, please contact the sales team on sales@hostuplift.com for more information.
The majority of our partner platforms charge commission. Typically, this is approximately 15% plus VAT. Most platforms are now moving away from a split-fee model and, effective June 2026, all platforms will have a single host-only fee. You can check which fee structure you are on by viewing this in your account of the relevant OTA.
Platforms are moving away from the split-fee model into one transparent commission fee model, which makes it clearer to guests the costs involved.
Payments from platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com are paid directly to the host. In the case of direct channels such as VRBO and your own direct booking website, payments are processed with Stripe our payments provider. This allows you to be paid directly and receive all payments.
Here at HostUplift we are not a full management company and do not cover financial management. You receive all payouts directly, and in the case of direct platforms such as your own website and channels like VRBO, we use Stripe* to process these payouts. All payouts are usually paid 5-7 days after the reservation, platform dependent.
*Please note these payouts are subject to processing fees.
Unfortunately, VAT is payable across all of our services regardless of registration status.
Termination
If you should leave us, we simply disconnect from your listings and you keep these. We can also move you to similar tools if desired – please note this is at the host’s own cost.
We have no minimum contract length – we want hosts to remain committed to us because they see the value in our service.
